April 27, 2010 - Shepheard Blood Center

At its meeting on April 27 the Washington Kiwanis Club heard a report on the Shepheard Blood Center which has visited Washington quarterly for many years.  Speaking for the center was Misty Harris (right), who was introduced by Debbie Jackson, program host for the day. She told of earlier aversion to the needle and how she conquered it. She told how the center will be at two locations here on its visit to Washington next month, at the Methodist Church in the morning and at the hospital in the afternoon.
