The Kiwanis Club of Washington was the 312th club organized under Kiwanis International on September 29, 1920. We have therefore named this blog Kiwanis 312. We are pleased to welcome you to our blog, which for the present must serve as our website.

The Kiwanis Club of Washington meets for lunch every Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at the Woman's Club, 108 North Alexander Avenue, Washington, Georgia, across Court Street from the Post Office.

April 10, 2010 - KiwanisOne Day












Nine Kiwanians contributed their morning Saturday, April 10, to building planting beds at the Robert Toombs House, which has lost State funding. Those Kiwanians are shown here and include Sherry Hudson, club president and active oculist; Bob Simmons, Lieutenant Governor and retired airline pilot; Jennifer Atkinson, school teacher and Key Club Advisor; Steve Blackmon, club director and retired businessman; Ed Geddings, club director and retired plant manager; Bill Boyd, club member and retired Episcopal priest; Bruce Holes, club member and active dentist; Jama Carper, club director and active bookkeeper; and William Johnson, club secretary and retired military.They worked under the supervision of Marcia Campbell, Site Manager, and her husband, Lee Campbell.
