The Kiwanis Club of Washington was the 312th club organized under Kiwanis International on September 29, 1920. We have therefore named this blog Kiwanis 312. We are pleased to welcome you to our blog, which for the present must serve as our website.

ABOUT US

The Kiwanis Club of Washington meets for lunch every Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at the Woman's Club, 108 North Alexander Avenue, Washington, Georgia, across Court Street from the Post Office.

Apr 2-3, 2010 - Spring Tour of Homes




Kiwanians were involved in all phases of Washington's 2010 Spring Tour of Homes April 2 and 3.

Jim Bundy, Trevin Burriss , Bob Simmons, Debbie Jackson served on the Joint Tour Commttee (JTC) which  included representatives from both the Woman's Club and the Kiwanis Club which have co-sponsored the tours at least since 1955. That committee has met monthly for the past year and planned the tour in great detail.

Twenty-three Kiwanians plus several volunteers worked for 190+ hours on the tour, including those named above, by selling tickets, driving tour cars, dispatching cars, loading cars with tourists.








Some years Kiwanians have opened their homes for the tour, but not this year.
