The Kiwanis Club of Washington was the 312th club organized under Kiwanis International on September 29, 1920. We have therefore named this blog Kiwanis 312. We are pleased to welcome you to our blog, which for the present must serve as our website.

ABOUT US

The Kiwanis Club of Washington meets for lunch every Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at the Woman's Club, 108 North Alexander Avenue, Washington, Georgia, across Court Street from the Post Office.

The Director of Tourism for the Chamber of Commerce, Ashley Barnett, spoke to the Kiwanis Club at its meeting Tuesday, June 8, after introduction by Ross Maynard, program host, and told the club of the plans and activities of the chamber that relate to her duties. She told particularly about the funding of the fireworks display planned for July 2 and thanked the club for its donation of $600 to the project. Other visitors at the meeting were Gracen Ware, recipient of one the club's $1000 scholarships, shown with club president Sherry Hudson, and her mother, Crystal Ware.
